Explosive Power, Pt. Deux

Yet another CFFB WOD (workout of the day).  I’m an addict:

Now that I’ve seen two different explosive power olympic lifts and my limitations, I’m happy to say that I have a long ways to go.  I can’t wait until the next set of olympic lifts.

Despite its slightly lurid name (depending on how much your mind is in the gutter), the snatch is an important exercise for any athlete, but especially contact ones.  These lifts help you prepare for essential parts of your role – that last bit of power during a tackle, lifting a guy up in a line-out, the vertical needed to reach the hoop.
