Blood sausage and caramelized onions, served with mustard boiled potatoes and cabbage.

Supremely simple to make. Just boil the potatoes and cabbage (duh). For the blood sausage, it was pan fried in a little oil, with the onions dumped on top. A little water to draw the sugars out, and a lid on top of the stove after a while, and it became this.

The blood sausage here (blodpølse) tastes a little sweet, and cakey. Jason swears it is carrot cake with blood in it. Would be paired well with some pickled fish and strong beer.
